Tips You Must Know before Creating a Travel Vlog!

What do you like to do most during the holiday season? 

 
I think a lot of people probably think of going on a trip. 

 
When you travel, you probably take a lot of photos.

But I think there are many people who plan to make videos, such as travel vlogs, to make memories of their trip. 

I think the most important thing in editing a travel vlog is the footage.

When it comes to cooking, filming can be seen as an ingredient.  

Just as the taste of food varies depending on how good the ingredients are used when cooking, 

Good footage is directly related to good quality video.  

So today, I prepared some travel vlog tips.  

So shall we begin? 

The first thing you need to do when shooting a travel vlog is to make a plan in advance. 

First, think about what you want to shoot, then make a plan based on time and location.  

You also need to think about what kind of filming equipment you will use. 

I guess we should focus on things that are highly portable, right? 

If you have selected a travel vlog BGM in advance, it is also important to capture the moment in the mood that matches the song. 

So, I recommend listening to that BGM repeatedly while traveling! 

When shooting a travel vlog, it is important to shoot with various compositions within single location.  

For example, if you are filming a scene where you are eating at a restaurant, 

The scenes of food being served 

The scene of looking at and tasting food 

The Scene of eating delicious food 

As shown above, you need to photograph various situations from different angles.  

(This will increase your options when editing and prevent the video from becoming monotonous.) 

And while filming, you need to focus on what you want to capture

You need to film the video without shaking the camera. 

If you are shooting with a smartphone, you must use a portable gimbal or hold the camera as steady as possible with both hands. 

And most importantly! 

It's a good idea to capture a full shot whenever you arrive at a new place. 

The full shot includes visual information in the video. 

Utilizing this information, viewers can understand the location and easily understand the context of the situation at that moment.

When you come back from your trip, you have to edit it, right? 

First create a project. 

At this time, it is easier to manage the file if you enter the project name as 'MM/DD Travel Vlog'.

Please set the 16:9 size and frame rate to 29.97! 

Add video files through [Add Media Files], 

You can edit it through the timeline.
